We spent a good portion of the day lounging at, alternately, a bench and a table in front of our auberge. We played online bridge with Jane, sipped cool beverages and generally soaked up the atmosphere.
For action, we took a stroll through town where many streets are lined with cream colored home and businesses like this one where you can get custom mosaics. Many things seemed shuttered for Monday, but we weren't planning on carrying a mosaic in any case.
Mary and Mo generously took care of the laundry at the levarie and I admit that the thought of freshly laundered clothes is cheering. I think we met our rest day relaxation goals and I'm ready to be back on the trail tomorrow.
Always nice to have a rest day and clean clothes.

Clean clothes are a big deal, especially after we’ve been through a lot of mud. – Mo
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for clean, dry clothes! How was the auberge? Regi
ReplyDeleteIdeal for us, casual and comfortable. Plus there was hail last night so being indoors was a bonus.
